Where to Host Your Videos
Sorry, it’s been a while since we posted. We hope you and yours had a safe and happy holiday and took lots of videos. If you are looking for a place to present your videos to the world there are several choices out there. You will have to explore each of them on your own because each of them presents different requirements, load limits, etc. But the main thing we are all looking for is a FREE or very inexpensive place to present your great videos to the world.
Each of these websites are considered FREE:
http://www.facebook.com – Free upload of your videos that you and your friends can view
The video is under 1024 MB and under 20 minutes
The video was made by you or your friends.
You or one of your friends appears in the video.

HTML5 Video Support
YouTube – of Course
Pretty liberal limits as to size and type of video, HD video limited to 20 minutes
Free to Sign Up and May earn some bucks with your video.
Very Strict about copyright stuff so read the rules before uploading videos
You must be very careful about including people in your video without their permission and using music that you don’t own the rights to or have permission to use. There are some Royalty Free music out there to use but be careful and read the fine print when downloading their music from their site. One of them that you might want to check out is Ricks Royalty Music Library of music he created himself and offers free to use with the provision that you site a credit in your project. http://Music4YourVids.co.uk
If you have a larger project you might have to get your own domain that allows unlimited diskspace and a large bandwidth. You can check out Godaddy for inexpensive domain and hosting solution with 99% uptime and the best customer service department I have ever worked with.
